Nanny is the Housekeeper and old-fashioned Royal Governess of the Castle Of Lions. Two days after the new Castle Of Lions was built, Nanny moved in. She still resides at the Castle. Nanny acts like a "mother" to Princess Allura, and is overprotective of Her. Pidge especially find Her annoying. When Princess Allura flies The Blue Lion for the first time, Nanny begs Allura to stay in the Castle and goes looking for another person to do the job. However Allura, as ruler of Planet Arus, chooses to fly The Blue Lion because She wants to help Her people. Without someone to fly The Blue Lion, Voltron cannot be formed.
