Load BASIC or BASICA at the DOS prompt without the invoking the filename that is to be "Unprotected". In other words, enter the following: A>BASICA [ENTER] ([ENTER] is used as the symbol for a carriage return, do not type in the actual letters, just enter a carriage return whenever you see it used.) When you get the "Ok", Load the file to be unprotected by pressing the "F3" button and typing the full filename. I.E.: Ok LOAD "TEST.BAS" [ENTER] (Type in the name of your filename where you see TEST.BAS used.) Now, while the program is loaded, LOAD "UNPROT.BAS" right behind it in the same manner. I.E.: Ok LOAD "UNPROT.BAS" [ENTER] At this point the program has been "Unprotected" and can be LISTed, or SAVEd in the usual manner. This short Unprotect file has worked on every DOS machine I have tried it on. Clones as well as true blue machines. It is short, direct and to the point and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
